The Journey

It begins with Ashes…

Ashes in the Bible are used in numerous ways. They are a sign of deep mourning and the mark of a traumatized soul.

This poverty of soul, and a deep since of humility before God are the indicators that we’re starting down the right path.

This Journey will change your life. This Journey will change YOU!

As Ash Wednesday is celebrated let the sign of the cross you wear be a powerful reminder of the humility required to begin this adventure.

May God richly bless your journey!

In the Master’s Service,

Pastor Rik

I’m elated to go into this new study with the mindset that time doesn’t matter. Unfortunately, this is due to not having a job at this point; however, I realize that God has blessed me with this time and I’d be a fool to sit around and waste it. The service this evening was a blessing in disguise and God definitely spoke through all those who participated.

PS: Pastor Steve’s remark about how we must first acknowledge the sin in our lives in order to some what comprehend our father’s grace really had an impact on me and I was very blessed to ponder on that before taking the elements. It’s down set go time and I look forward to participating in this Journey with you all!

God’s love for me is not dependent on me or my actions, GOD IS LOVE (it’s not His nature, or an attribute, His very essence is love!) and that love is there in all of life’s circumstances. God help me to acknowledge your love and let it drive how I live. Praise be to Him!
